What you doing nt understand is @ you add the output to 2 emissios nodes. How does it know one is dark and one is bright parts. I dont see the Connection on why it uses that b havior. What happens of you out 3, 4 or more? No explanation one how that works

Something to note about desaturation is that it doesn't account for relative luminance, where certain hues are usually seen as brighter than other ones (i.e. yellow vs blue for example).
